Xiaomi pushes for assembly in India

Analysis: With the upcoming IPO of Xiaomi in Q4 2018 , the seller of feature packed phones at a bargin price, Xiaomi has also branched to all sorts of OEM manfacturing such as laptops , personal computers,  USB accessories, luggage , rice steamers. Xiaomi is the #1 manufacturer in India for mobile phones with 27% of the market share. Due to being the market leader, manfacturing inside India reduces any import tax and keeps them competitive while providing 2000-5000 jobs to local residents in India.
