Smartphone shipments in China, largest cell phone market in the world have suffered their biggest decline ever, plummeting more than 21% in the first quarter of 2018 compared with the same period last year

Analysis: Not many people are upgrading their phones after Quad-Core ARM's that were released in 2014. Although cell phone shipments might suffer, the growth of mobiile internet users is still increasing.

Conclusion: Revenue growth of pure hardware mobile phone sellers will stop. Example: HTC , Samsung, Oppo , Vivo,  Mobile phone sellers with software platforms (Apple, GOOG) will continue growth.  Software is incremental growth while hardware is not.
