Analysis: Being the leader of automated vacuum cleaners and is also contracted by the DoD (Department of Defense) to build mine removal robots. iRobot does not lack in technical experience in building robots, the current robots are based on consumer marketability such as vacuum cleaners. Amazon.com will have to invest heavily to match iRobot's expertise in robots. Amazon will make the market and iRobot will be there for the match.
